We had wonderful week at The Byre it has everything we needed and we even had great weather. If you want peace and quiet in stunning surroundings The Byre is the place for you! It was our second visit and we will be returning for our third as soon as we can. Lesley is a great hostess always there when you need something and nothing is too much trouble. The two dogs loved the walks from the door and were as sad to leave as we were. The Byre is tucked away but you can be in Llandovery which has a really good CO-OP and pubs in ten minutes. ‘It was our first holiday in the post Covid world and we were quite anxious about it. But Lesley made us feel so welcome that it started feeling like a holiday straight away. Everything was great about the Byre – superb location (very peaceful and remote but in the meantime easy reach of the main attractions – walks, towns, shops); very comfortable and well looked after accommodation, it has everything you need and more. Lots of thoughtful little detail (generous welcome pack, lavender sachets in the wardrobe, hot water bottle left on the bed, warm blankets to wrap into in the evenings in front of TV, diverse books/DVD collection and etc.).
