‘Wonderful stay ! Great location.. I mean perfect location. Lovely peace and quiet great Airbnb would def use again. Bigger than it looks in the images has everything you could need’ Lee Rayner, 18th April 2021,   London, UK

‘We enjoyed a lovely (ridiculously) sunny stay at The Byre last week. Such a well located cottage for great walks up Pen y Fan as well as allowing us to explore The Black Mountain range nearer to Llandeilo. Not that you need to go anywhere really as there are endless walking opportunities from the doorstep. We felt very welcome and Lesley was always on hand to give us excellent tips and advice to help plan our days. The fridge was stocked with some essentials to get us started which was perfect; the cottage was clean, warm and quiet – really couldn’t have asked or more. Thank you and we hope to be back soon!’ J. Houlston, 22nd September 2020

‘Thank you Lesley for our fabulous Bank holiday weekend in your beautiful, clean, comfortable and airy cottage.  I recommend this stay to anyone.  The Byre is perfectly situated to take in the breath-taking views of  Cwm Gwennol (Swallow Valley) below; the ever changing light across this Valley is perfect for Photographers and Instagram enthusiasts alike. Lovely to spend time exploring the wonderful garden accompanied by the chickens.  We walked for miles each day with the dogs, and the forest roads are perfect for E-bikes – We did the 13 mile circular route along The Epynt Way under Mynydd Bwlch-y-Groes and Cwm y Glyn (Halfway Valley) with ease – again amazing views!

Great running routes through the Crychan Forest, and a lovely Sunday lunch at the Shoemaker’s Arms! Diolch!!’ D. Cheal, Kingston Upon Thames, 31st August 2020

We had wonderful week at The Byre it has everything we needed and we even had great weather. If you want peace and quiet in stunning surroundings The Byre is the place for you! It was our second visit and  we will be returning for our third as soon as we can. Lesley is a great hostess always there when you need something and nothing is too much trouble. The two dogs loved the walks from the door and were as sad to leave as we were. The Byre is tucked away but you can be in Llandovery which has a really good CO-OP and pubs in ten minutes. Perfect getaway!! T. Bunn, 15th August 2020

‘Another relaxing, peaceful and chilled weekend in our favourite getaway. We love this perfect cottage, the location, the scenery, and the tranquillity make our weekends here so special. We can’t wait to return.’ J. James, 12th August 2020

‘It was our first holiday in the post Covid world and we were quite anxious about it. But Lesley made us feel so welcome that it started feeling like a holiday straight away. Everything was great about the Byre – superb location (very peaceful and remote but in the meantime easy reach of the main attractions – walks, towns, shops); very comfortable and well looked after accommodation, it has everything you need and more. Lots of thoughtful little detail (generous welcome pack, lavender sachets in the wardrobe, hot water bottle left on the bed, warm blankets to wrap into in the evenings in front of TV, diverse books/DVD collection and etc.). I only wish we could stay there for longer. We have had an absolutely magical time at the Byre, thank you Lesley!’ Olga & George, 21st July 2020

“Beautiful, spotless cottage.  Spent Christmas here.  Very attentive hosts.  Welcome pack was just lovely.  Thank you” Carol, Mick (Jack, Maddy & Woody), Staffordshire – 23rd December 2019″
