Location, location, location…………..
The Byre sits on a quiet byway nestled in the Cwm Gwennol valley with spectacular views of the Halfway and Crychan forests and distant Black Mountain range of the Brecon Beacons. Access from the A40 is along a a winding country lane, and there are easily accessible forest paths for walkers and riders alike – right on the doorstep!
At one time, the property would have owned and managed large swathes of the land around, though this is now under the excellent stewardship of another local farmer. He keeps his animals in the surrounding fields and it is not unusual to see sheep and cows moving past the property on the byway directly outside The Byre!
